Double Thick Brownies with Chocolate Fudge Frosting
These thicker, chewy brownies slathered in a rich chocolate fudge frosting is a perfect way end to a meal.

- 1½ cups butter or margarine, melted
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 6 eggs
- 1½ cups flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips or chip flavor of your choice
Frosting
- 6 tbsp butter or margarine
- ½ cup cocoa
- 2⅔ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 6 tbsp milk
Melt butter.
Add the cocoa to the melted butter.
Cook over low heat until mixture boils or becomes thick; remove from heat.
Cool completely.
Mix together the other ingredients.
Add the cocoa mixture.
Blend until fully mixed. Adjust if necessary for spreading consistency.
